What we do

A kitchen with light oak fronts, drawers and a built-in oven

Kitchens

A made-to-measure kitchen fits your walls, your movements and the way you cook. Solid or veneered wood fronts, worktops in wood, stone or ceramic, the appliances of your choice.

We install everything, worktop included, and coordinate the plumber and electrician if needed.

Staircases

Straight, quarter-turn, spiral or floating: each staircase is designed for your stairwell, to comfort and safety standards. Treads in oak, ash or beech, banisters in wood or metal.

Made in the workshop, it is installed in one or two days.

Closets and bookcases

Under the stairs, in the attic or around a window: we turn awkward corners into storage. Closets, cupboards, bookcases and built-in desks, to the millimetre.

Furniture and restoration

Tables, benches, sideboards, headboards: furniture built to last, with traditional joints. We also restore family pieces: re-gluing, replacing parts, wax or French polish finishes.

How a project works

1. The visit. We come to your home, free of charge: measurements, photos, your wishes and constraints.

2. The sketch and quote. Within two weeks, a drawing and a detailed quote, item by item. No surprises later.

3. Making. Everything is made in the workshop: four to eight weeks depending on the project. You are welcome to drop by and see how it is coming along.

4. Installation. We protect your home, install, adjust and leave the place clean.

Stacks of planks drying under a sawmill shed

Wood chosen at the sawmill

Oak, walnut, chestnut, cherry: our timber comes from a family sawmill in the Périgord Noir, thirty kilometres away. Air-dried for two years, it moves less once installed.

Our finishes are natural oils or waxes; on request, solvent-free varnishes for kitchens and bathrooms.
