The workshop

Hands pushing a piece of wood against a saw fence

In Sarlat since 2011

Antoine learned the trade with a cabinetmaker in Périgueux, restoring Louis XV chests of drawers and cutting dovetails by hand. In 2011, he opened his workshop on the edge of Sarlat, with a workbench, a band saw and plenty of drive.

Today, the workshop has three people and modern machines, but the method hasn't changed: a hand-drawn sketch, solid wood, joints that hold.
