Where does our oak come from?
A sawmill 30 kilometres away, planks air-dried for two years: a visit to our supplier.

All our oak comes from a family sawmill in the Périgord Noir, half an hour from the workshop. The logs are chosen standing, sawn into boards, then dried for two years under a shed before they reach us.
It takes longer than kiln-dried timber, but wood that has taken its time moves less once installed: the doors still close ten years later.
